  • potatoes36 oz
  • yellow onion2 piece
  • white cabbage8 oz
  • apple6 oz
  • beef broth32 tbsp
  • all-purpose flour4 tbsp
  • butter4 tbsp
  • whole milk16 tbsp
  • garlic8 clove
  • fresh parsley8 sprig
  • salt2 tsp
  • black pepper1 tsp

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F. Roast sausages 25 minutes, turning once.

  2. Boil potatoes with whole garlic cloves until tender, 18 minutes.

  3. Cook sliced onion in butter over low heat until sweet and collapsed, 15 minutes.

  4. Stir flour into the onions, add broth, simmer 5 minutes until glossy.

  5. Mash potatoes and garlic with warm milk. Season hard.
