  • jasmine rice1 cup
  • english cucumber1 piece
  • carrot2 piece
  • soy sauce4 tbsp
  • brown sugar6 tsp
  • rice vinegar4 tsp
  • garlic4 clove
  • fresh ginger2 tsp
  • toasted sesame oil2 tsp
  • vegetable oil2 tbsp
  • scallion4 piece
  • salt½ tsp

Method

  1. Cook rice per package.

  2. Thin-slice cucumber. Julienne carrot. Toss with vinegar and a pinch of salt.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high. Add pork, break it up, brown 6 minutes until crisp at edges.

  4. Stir in minced garlic and ginger, 30 seconds.
