- jasmine rice2 cup
- broccoli florets6 cup
- carrot2 piece
- scallion2 piece
- cornstarch6 tsp
- soy sauce6 tbsp
- oyster sauce4 tbsp
- brown sugar4 tsp
- garlic8 clove
- fresh ginger6 tsp
- beef broth24 tbsp
- toasted sesame oil2 tsp
- olive oil4 tbsp
- salt1 tsp

Method
Cook the jasmine rice according to package directions.
15 min · boil
Toss the beef with half the cornstarch and a pinch of salt.
3 min · prep
Whisk soy, oyster sauce, brown sugar, broth and the rest of the cornstarch.

Sear the beef in a very hot pan in one layer. Do not crowd it.
4 min · fry
Lift the beef out while it is still pink in the middle.

Fry the broccoli and carrot hard until blistered but still crunchy.
5 min · saute
Add the garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant.

Pour in the sauce and stir until it thickens and turns glossy.
2 min · simmer
Return the beef, add sesame oil, and toss through the scallion.
